Gail E. Mulczynski is my name; but, a name does not describe who I am as a person. I am a survivor of child abuse, incest, clergy abuse, human trafficking, as well as a survivor of domestic violence, deviant religious practices (ritual abuse), plus extreme abuse and torture, in my past long-term marriage.  I was a protective mother who attempted to free her only child, Megan Mulczynski, from terrible abuse. The courts and institutions failed my daughter. Fortunately, my daughter and I have an evolving, personal relationship presently.

Finding my voice was and still is an important part of my journey. I notice as I move forward in my life, my voice gets stronger and gentler. In the fall of 2014, I had an opportunity to share my story to a group of psychology graduate students at Naropa University as part of an in-training provided by the WINGS Foundation. Educating others (students or not) in the area of trauma, especially related to abuse, is imperative. Plus, telling my story in person presents a human face to trauma and healing.

I am a human being of mind, body, and spirit with a strong desire to help others who are currently dealing with any of the above issues and/or their aftermath. I’m not a therapist. I am a compassionate, gentle, and focused life coach. It is through my determination, deep inner strength, perseverance, willingness to seek help, spiritual strengths, and patience that I now not only survive; but, I thrive in society as it is.
